Today is PinkShirtDay in support of Anti Bullying. Have you got your pink on?
Start the conversation with your kids about bullying and keep talking to your kids. If you have young children teach them that bullying is wrong. Tell your kids if they are being bullied they need to talk to you about it or an adult they trust. By staying silent the victimization continues and the bully wins.

Dar - me, almost my entire kindergarten class plus 260 other students (and staff) in our school were sporting pink today - Together, we can stop bullying! Bravo for mentioning it!
Vstar Lady - this is such an important issue and bullying starts at an early age and only escalates as they get older. People can be vicious and it's sad. We need to let bullies know taht at its unacceptable and the victim needs to tell someone that they trust & not carry the burden alone.
