Santa Baby....I've been a really good girl!!!

This is the bike of my dreams.  Some moto blogger friends of mine where blogging about the bikes they would buy if money were no object and they could have one for each day of the week.  With me being so new to motorcycling and been scooting around on a 50cc scooter for 11 months, I had no idea what my moto dream bike really is and couldn't imagine having to pick 7.  I have always loved the look of retro styled bikes and the old Triumphs and Nortons.  Yesterday I sat on and fell in love with this beauty.  Its going to take awhile before I get anywhere near buying one of these, so I will dream about the day that I am riding one of these, unless Santa decides I've been a good girl.........

Oh, yeah! I am with you on that one, Dar. The Bonnie has been my dream bike for a very long time alas I never found enough dough to actually buy one. Good plan, to ask Santa...

I think I may only get motorcycle boots, but that would be okay too. But I am going to start saving for a Bonnie. I really really love this bike.

Dar, I don't think it needs to be that long. Triumph has been putting these sexy beasts on the road for a few years already, and there are plenty of reasonable, used machines out there. I love the look of a Triumph, too. They're fine machines with a charm all their own.

Sometimes Santa likes the naughty girls too! Try that. :P

Raftnn - I think the only thing Santa will go for is the Triumph boots, it's a start from the ground up so to speak.

Brady - Thanks for dropping by! I have been scanning ads for gently used ones, not many of them. There sure are a lot of HD sportsters though. As lovely as the sportster is, it just doesn't sing to me and when I tried one at the HD dealer it kinda of felt 'meh' - I didn't get that OMG I HAVE TO HAVE IT feeling.

Robert - lol! I have been pushing my luck with Santa this year, he bought me a 50cc scooter, which started the whole riding thing and then when I decided about needing a bike he bought me a good used reliable starter bike. So I think I should chill on the triumph and maybe next year who knows what Santa may bring. Thanks for visitting!

You have great taste in motorcycles. The Bonnie is a timeless classic.

Maybe you won't get one this Christmas, but... if you keep that dream in your heart, chances are good you can make it happen.

Fuzzy - Thanks I seem to like the old fashioned lines and cruiser type bikes, its what I have been hanging out on for so long and for me it is a comfortable riding position. I tried a forward leaning bike and it was too hard on my upper body. I also found some of them really front end heavy.

I will honestly settle for the lovely pair of Triumph boots I tried on, they fit perfectly and were very comfortable and the sales person 100% guarantees they won't leak.

Nice bike with great style. That would be my choice as well. As usual, it is all about fit. You gotta be comfortable.

Hey Bel! I have always loved the look of Truimphs, now if I only had the money to buy one. I like other bikes, but they are too tall for me. Santa could give me an extra 3 to 5 inches in height for Christmas and I would be happy!

I must say you have excellent taste! That is also one of my favorite styles of bike. :)
