Brave Bold Blogger Challenge #13

Today's post in the challenge is a pic of your bike or car. The Duchess is patiently waiting for me to bring her out of hibernation mode, but I'm still waiting for monsoon season to stop or at least let-up. I really don't mind riding on the rain, I've got all the gear so I am fairly hermetically sealed from the elements, but for me it's the other drivers who aren't at their best in winter weather and not expecting me out on the road. But I have been riding out at my riding school & prepping for the upcoming novice teaching season.

Sometimes I wonder if being on the road when they don't expect you helps you be more visible. It seems like everyone and their brother waves at me during the winter. And not waving their fist either.

Dar, as you probably suspect, cagers won't see you no matter what the weather, season, time, or phase of the moon. It's like an invisibility cloak, riding a motorcycle.

Sidecars, on the other hand, are still rare enough that they tend to be seen by cagers....tend do, doesn't work sometimes either.

Dar, we've been enjoying a 'Vancouver' winter here, lots of bikes on the road ... until Saturday when we suddenly hit -37C and nothing started. Then today the temperature rose and the snow hit, 45cm of it before 6pm. Again, no bikes on the road.

Spring will be here soon. Your poor bike looks so sad surrounded by dead leaves. :-(

Spring is almost here and the weather is finally warming up.

Hey, Dar.
Very nice and interesting article you have shared here. It is really fine that you don’t mind to ride the motor bike on the rain. But it is little bit risky. Thanks for sharing your personal opinion.
