The two people beside me in this picture are what I am most thankful for, my husband and beautiful daughter. They ARE my world.
I am very thankful for where I live as well, because I am fortunate that Canada believes in rights and freedoms for their citizens. I don't take that for granted ever because there are many places that routinely treat their citizens harshly and abuse and neglect civil rights.
So I am a pretty lucky human and it is only a twist of fate that allows most of to be born in good countries or bad ones.

You have such a beautiful family. And you're right about countries. I just read a long story about life in Saudi Arabia for women and it blew me away. The limitations there are horrible.

We live in wonderful countries you and I, but we still face limitations, maybe not as severe, but I still believe they are present. When I was figuring out my career choices back in the mid to late 80's 8 was denied access to a career path because of my height and pribably my gender, because when were just breaking into the field of law enforcement, I wanted to be a police dog handler. If it was today, I would have probably been a cop and a motocycle cop no less! But now I am following my newest passion teaching motorcycling.
I am so blessed by these two people in my life they are my world.
