Mother Day's ride

Happy Mother's Day!  Summer has arrived on Vancouver Island!  Today it was 23C, sunny, hot, GORGEOUS!!!!  My day started with coffee delivered to me by Scooterpie Jr, followed by a fabulous frittata and toast with nutella and thinly sliced bananas.  Breakfast was yummy!  Scooterpie Jr and Motorcycle Man gave me a beautiful pendant a key with a ruby centre stone.  They gave me the key to their hearts.  I love my family!  Day was paced pretty leisurely and I didn't have to worry about dinner either.  The afternoon was one that beckoned you to be on the bike and I heard the siren song of twisties calling to me.  I was able to sneak out with 3 other girlfriends and we went seeking twisties.  It was fabulous!  The scenery was spectacular and it was breathtaking.  Hope you all had a wonder Mother's Day or just a plain beautiful sunny day!

So is this what poison Ivy looks like???  I think I need to do a google search......

Wasn't it just the best day for a ride out? Lovely pics. We still have to make it out on the island. There are some nice bikes in the pics. What are they?

Sonja - we did two set if twisty roads off of West Saanich Rd, I think one was Willis Pt road, the other is I believe Mckenzie Bite(?) it overlooks FINLAYSON ARM across from the Malahat Summit. It was spectacular.

Andrew - we were on the dirt for a nano second, it was at the end of the ride. Oh what a lovely ride though!

Breakfast in bed, adoration of family, girl and bike time. The perfect day! The weather just cooperated so nicely, and such a lovely location to head towards.

excellent to be able to "grab" MM's M/C and enjoy the day. OF course if he wanted to tag along, there is always the CAR . . .

See you Saturday

Brenda - Welcome to Scooterpie! Love your Shadow - she is pretty sweet!

BeemerGirl - I love it when I get treated queen-like! My daughter & hubby are wonderful. I gave her two lovely little ispirational bracelets because she truly was my gift 14 years ago and just having me makes every day Mother's day.

Bob - We should have some awesome weather for Saturday.

Marilyn - Thank you! I love it when new people stop by and find my humble musing interesting.

Pam - Thank you! It was a fabulous day. How was your Mother's day? I hope you got out on two wheels!

Trobairitz - Lol - he brought it out for me and has been diligently working at way at solving the Conundrum of Scarlet. Our neighbor came over to help as well. It was a glorious day, I rode 2 sets of twisties and sat in the sun, had great company. It was the perfect day!

You have THREE girlfriends that ride? I am jealous! My two girlfriends ride... tractors. You know, like around their yard to do agricultural stuff. My aunt did just buy a Can Am but she lives 3.5 hours away. :-(

Very nice pics. Looks like you had a splendid day!
