All the Moto babies have been put to bed for their winter nap in the moto lair and it's probably a good thing, as so far this December is beating cold temperatures and we have had a dusting if snow and are expecting more next week. So for now I am happily 4 wheeling and dressing in winter gear. I must also admit that I am really enjoying a warm car in the morning and not lugging 30 pounds of motorcycle gear and trying to defrost myself when I get to work.

Nice light displays on the boats and the government building. I have a short enough commute that I've yet to arrive cold. Too much built in insulation maybe ;-(
I'm assuming the domed building is a courthouse or something governmental?
Parts of me were ready for winter back in May and it takes a lot for me to suffer.
Festive! Love to see boats with lights. I used to watch for the big ore boats on Lake Michigan to come by during the holidays. They usually have lights and trees!
So pretty with all the lights. Don't blame you for taking the car.
I think Brad is getting used to it here too. We woke up to -14˚C this morning and day two of no hot water. Brrrr

Looks cold. Nothing wrong with taking the car and being warm. No helmet hair too.
I think we have decorated boats in False creek too. Will have to find out when

So beautiful! I love the lights at Christmas time the best.
I keep colored lights up through March to fight off the winter doldrums and darkness.
Lovely post! Thank you!
very pretty!
Dar, those pictures of the harbor and the legislature bring back fond memories of my only trip to Victoria back in 2008. The boats with Christmas lights is a really nice touch.
Do those water taxies do a special little dance routine for the holidays?
All the best to you and your family for Christmas and the New Year!!
We always have lighted boat parades here in Florida but damned if I have ever made it to one.
