I saw on the news that it my touch Quebec,
Stay safe!

I hope I pass the tests, it's kind of nerve wracking. It is stretched over 3 weekends and they all start at 8:00 am & go until 5:00pm, pretty intense. I will post about my class adventures.Dar https://www.blogger.com/profile/14690180541358767168noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7912722884165693795.post-12038206797099362962011-08-26T20:26:43.035-07:002011-08-26T20:26:43.035-07:00Nicely done Dar. I personnally believe that no one passes the first time. The examiners seem to always find enough faults to fail riders the first time around. The second time around it's much easier. It doesn't seem to have much to do with the riders' skills or their actual performance. Hang in there. Be sure to put up as many posts as possible as you take the riding lessons.David Massehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09346419242154545286noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7912722884165693795.post-63332992119018247562011-08-26T10:21:10.073-07:002011-08-26T10:21:10.073-07:00Dar,

Good luck with the transition. He declined the use of his V45 Magna 750 - which I would use for two reasons 1) way too big 2) if I dropped it he would kill me,as it is in mint condition. I need to learn shifting, because scoot is a twist'n'go. The permit rules are I can ride during daylight hours, can't go over 60km/ h, no passenger and someone with a full class 6 has to be with me either in a car or motorcycle following behind. Once I do the skills test & pass they remove those restrictions and then I ride on my own and they also lift the speed restriction.

I am a very green beginner, have never shifted a motorcycle, but I do drive a manual transmission car, hub says it will be easy peasy because I am used manuals. Hope so! Tips appreciated!!!!

HEY BEN! I remember that same feeling when passing my learners.

Troubadour was going to be teaching me on his bike in a parking lot and I needed to make sure we were legal when we did it. The hubs bike is a 750 way too big. I can practice the driving skills on my scoot for balance sake & even the cone test. We will figure out the bike part. I am in no hurry to buy a bike right now, but we are keeping our eyes on Used Victoria. Ya just never know.
