Dar, ya got me looking at and thinking about motorcycles again!

I'm weary of the snobbish attitudes that I find so often among scooter riders. I'm ready for some changes. I just have to save up and start to look around.

As always, you've inspired me in so many ways.

You gals look great!

Deb look at a TW 250 by Suzuki or a Suzuki S40 beautiful low slung cruiser perfect gentle ride and easy reach set height. Also a VStar 250 or Honda Rebel (personally I like the Vstar more). Don't think the snobbish attitude only applies to scooters, there is plenty of it amongst motorcyclists. I however don't care what someone rides as long as they use care and have good skills.

I'm shopping too!! I took the riding course before we moved from Ohio. It was hard enough to get the Goldwing from Ohio to Texas so I decided to wait, but NOW is the time!! I really like how the Vstar feels between my legs!! Fits perfect! I practiced for a while on a rebel that I borrowed from my big sis, but the V Star is screaming my name!
You have an impressive list of blogs you follow! I will definitely be perusing your list!!

Jennifer - welcome to the two wheeled world! Check out the blog on my list motorcycle Touring - Riding on my V Star, Karen the gal who writes that blog has a lovely Vstar and goes everywhere on it! I try to get to most of the blogs and it seems I always find more that interest me. I may not comment all the time, but I love reading about other people's journies, it's fascinating!

So how many cc's you looking at? Look at the Honda Shadow's too nice lovely low slung cruiser. Love the VStars! Just remember to go out into the parkinglot regularly and practice your skills it helps you get used to the weight of your bike and familiar with the handling.
